As a tour guide, I create experiences that go beyond the monuments, sharing the diverse and untold histories that make this city extraordinary. My journey to guiding has been shaped by a love of history, storytelling, and connecting with people.
A Passion for History and Culture
A graduate of Howard University, I first built a career in technology before transitioning to the hospitality industry, managing large-scale conventions. But my heart has always been in uncovering the lesser-known narratives of DC—especially its rich Black history. This passion led me to write 111 Places in Black Culture in Washington, DC That You Must Not Miss, a book that highlights the hidden gems of the city.
